The actual gun itself. This is the breach, which is special because it's the world's first practical, working breach loading gun. It's still in working order, and the system used has changed little since this gun made the breakthrough - previous guns were all muzzle loaded.

The old Clifton suspension bridge over the Waiau river. The bridge was built when the Waiau was a mighty big river, which it's not any more. Most of it's water down goes through the Manapouri power station and drains into Deep Cove, Doubtful Sound.
